Cyphesis version 0.3.1 has been released and is now available from the WorldForge download site.
Cyphesis is a small to medium scale server for WorldForge games, with builtin AI. This version includes the demo game Mason which is currently in development. This release is intended for server administrators wishing to run a Mason server or anyone wishing to work on serverside game development.
New features in this version:
- Support for custimisable character appearance.
- Rules now stored in a new file format compatible with indri and other WorldForge servers.
- Support for loads of new entity types.
- New rules and behavoirs for new creature types.
- Support for stricter gcc 3.4.1 C++ rules.
- Major performance improvements.
- Loads of bug fixes.
