- Integration with Cyphesis for AI / NPCs
Agent or some subclass needs to support the routing, and some special setup / initiation code needs to be worked
- Persistence of entities and in-game data
- Mercator support, and efficent storage of the associated data
Damien added the raw control points for a single terrain patch in as an experiment, but really we need to hang the Mercator C++ objects off of entities - the question is how.
- Support for the editing / world-building operations defined by Equator
- Basic rigidy-body physics, almost certainly based on orientated bounding boxes initially
Minor Tasks
It's always worth checking the TODO file in CVS for minor items to work on; it's update sporadically, and often a bit vauge, but it can provide inspiration and useful starting points for working on the code. You can view the file (via the online CVS browser) here
- Read settings from Varconf
Completed Tasks
- Basic support for scripted observers, i.e simple AI, and other entities in the world that respond to visual or aural stimuls. For example, video cameras and doors that open in response to a magic word!
